Passing standard
A general average of 75.00, with no part below 60.00. A single part under the floor fails you even when your average clears the mark, which is exactly why the reviewer tracks your weak areas.You need a weighted general average of at least 75% with no grade below 60% in any of the four subjects (RA 10029). Because Psychological Assessment is weighted 40% and the other three 20% each, the general average is a WEIGHTED mean — a strong Assessment score moves your average almost twice as much as any other subject.
Who can take it
Graduates of a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Psychology (or an allied degree the Board recognizes) from a CHED-recognized program. Unlike the Psychologist exam, the Psychometrician exam does not require a master’s degree — it is the entry licence for psychometric and testing work.
Format
100% multiple choice across four subjects sat over two days: Developmental Psychology (20%), Abnormal Psychology (20%), Industrial-Organizational Psychology (20%), and Psychological Assessment / Psychometrics (40%). Psychological Assessment carries the heaviest weight — nearly half the exam.
