Passing standard
A general average of 75.00, with no part below 60.00. A single part under the floor fails you even when your average clears the mark, which is exactly why the reviewer tracks your weak areas.You need a weighted general average of at least 75% with no grade below 60% in any of the four subjects (RA 10029, Sec. 18). Below 60% in a subject while averaging 75% or higher is a conditional pass: retake the deficient subjects within two years.
Who can take it
Holders of at least a master’s degree in psychology from a CHED-recognized program who have completed the required supervised practicum or clinical experience and meet the PRC eligibility requirements under RA 10029.
Format
100% multiple choice across four subjects: Advanced Theories of Personality (20%), Advanced Abnormal Psychology (25%), Advanced Psychological Assessment (30%), and Psychological Counseling and Psychotherapy (25%). The assessment subject carries the largest weight.
