- Graduates of teacher-education programs (BEEd, BSEd, and allied degrees with education units). Elementary and Secondary have separate exams.
- Format
- 100% multiple choice. Elementary: General Education (40%) + Professional Education (60%). Secondary: General Education (20%) + Professional Education (40%) + Area of Specialization (40%). Given twice a year.
- When
- Twice yearly (commonly March and September/October). Confirm dates at prc.gov.ph.

- 75% general average, with no subject rating below 50%
